taking a look on look

  • Sometimes its hard to identify what is the meaning of the verb "to look" when it comes following by prepositions .In order do not make mistakes, you better pay attention on this. When a verb comes with a preposition and it changes the original translation, actually its a phrasal verb. there is no rule to get the meaning of it ... but you can memorize them one by one... thats why I invite you to study the verb to look as phrasals. Are you ready? Ok. Lets get the ball rolling taking a look on "look"... to look at= olhar para to look for = procurar to look after = cuidar to look into = olhar para dentro examples: I was fired thats why I must look for another job if I want to look after my children . If you dont know why I am always looking at you , try to look into your heart and you will know that we were born to be together. I sincerely hope you can understand my explanation and avoid new mistakes with phrasals. See you guys !!!!!!
